About the course
An environmental audit is a type of evaluation intended to identify environmental compliance and management system implementation gaps, along with related corrective actions. Environmental auditing is a systematic, documented, periodic and objective process in assessing an organization’s activities and services in relation to: Assessing compliance with relevant statutory and internal requirements. Facilitating management control of environmental practices.
- A systematic, comprehensive and documented evaluation of the environmental performance of development activities.
- It has a standard procedure with clear chains that must be followed.
- It is usually a holistic evaluation.
- Properly documented in terms of report in order to assist the subsequent audit processes.
