Course Overview
Resource Mobilization Training is an intensive 5-day professional program designed to strengthen participants’ capacity to mobilize resources in full compliance with humanitarian and development donor frameworks. The course integrates donor landscape mapping, proposal development, partnership management, and accountability requirements used by major donors.
Participants will gain practical skills to design compliant funding proposals, manage donor relationships responsibly, and ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability in resource mobilization efforts.

Day 2: Local & International Donor Landscape Mapping (Compliance-Focused)
- Mapping donors by sector, geography, and thematic priorities
- Eligibility criteria and compliance screening
- Understanding donor funding cycles and application procedures
- Local donor compliance requirements and public funding regulations
- International donor due diligence and partner vetting
- Practical exercise: Donor mapping with compliance checklist
Day 3: Proposal Development & Budgeting (Donor-Compliant)
- Writing compliant concept notes and funding proposals
- Aligning proposals with donor priorities and strategic frameworks
- Developing donor-compliant budgets and cost narratives
- Eligible and non-eligible costs
- Financial controls, procurement, and audit readiness
- Practical exercise: Drafting a compliant proposal and budget
Day 4: Donor Engagement, Contracts & Reporting

- Grant agreements, contracts, and MoUs

- Results-based reporting and logical frameworks

Day 5: Sustainability, Risk Management & Best Practices
